FILM EDUCATION PROGRAMS
The Cultural Workshop Agion Omologiton was founded in 1999 and provides children, young people and adults with opportunities to engage with issues related to culture. The programs are presented on a regular basis but also on special occasions.
Since 2017 we develop various actions related to FilmEducation for all ages.
At the same time we organize film screenings mainly in our venue in Nicosia. We have organized over 100 movie screenings, and in recent years we have added online screenings, mainly due to the pandemic situation.
In the field of Film Education, we are one of the most important organizations in Cyprus, members of CIFEJ and ECFA.
Our programs are supported by the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth of the Republic of Cyprus.
We seek collaborations with institutions and organizations in Cyprus and abroad and we are able to host programs and events. We have a wide network of collaborators and supporters both in Cyprus and abroad.
