The Fest of Fests forum is scheduled to be held annually at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation in Athens.
Held last June, the launching forum was organized as a kick-off meeting, bringing together 65 world-renowned experts, leading organizations and stakeholders from all over the world.
The next forums will be organized as focus groups, focusing on subjects highlighted by the community of practice around film and media literacy.
The upcoming 2nd Fest of Fests Forum, to be held on June 2019, will be centered on the question of integration of film literacy & education into school education and curricula. Festivals and public institutions from various EU countries will convene in Athens with the aim to explore the progress made and to propose further steps to be made towards this direction.
